Sorry mate that you have been sacked into the death BIOS 003X 004X for the DZ68BC.

To answer you, you have no choice but to use the BIOS 0042 if you want to use your card or any other card that's UEFI enabled on the DZ68BC, or just get another board or downgrade your GPU BIOS to legacy BIOS if provided by manufacturer.

Other thoughts i got sick of the board DZ68BC last year 2013 so when the DZ87KLT-75K released i jumped on the band wagon and bought it as its the last Intel board it has treated me well most of the time especially after release of BIOS 0451 & 0452 it has been rock solid, wanted to give Intel a last chance and also have a trophy of the last Desktop Board made by Intel.

The Intel Visual BIOS is the best i have seen just my opinion too bad the never rolled it down to the DZ68BC, I love the Visual BIOS.

On to DZ68BC man i still have the board on a secondary build PC still running i7-3770, in my mind i still hope tho its EOL that Intel will find it in their corporate heart to fix the issues with the DZ68BC once and for all and put a cherry on top of it in the form of a VISUAL BIOS for the DZ68BC.

People provided lots of useful information about the DZ68BC that should be more than enough to facilitate the full fix bag proof BIOS for DZ68BC, still have hope to one day see a fully factional bag proof DZ68BC BIOS Intel VISUAL BIOS treat.

FYI: I had read some information on the internet way back in 2011 that Intel had developed VISUAL BIOS for all the Intel 6 Series and X79 that was scheduled for release in sometime 2012. The VISUAL BIOS never saw the light of day was put on ICE for unknown reason. Now would be the time to release the BIOS Intel, as many people bought these 6 series and x79 and would like to use them with UEFI enabled GPUs and it would add more compatibility with the Windows 8, 8.1, 9 and any other that will come after those its a win win Customer happy Intel happy good parting gift since Intel already stopped developing Desktop Boards 8 Series was the last one and i Have the DZ87KLT-75K would like the DZ68BC to be treated with respect and love too as an Intel product i still have the DZ68BC Running i7-3770 on BIOS 0035 currently, 20GB RAM and its more of a multimedia server / encoding machine for me with over 30TB storage on it.

Oh i have since been on the MSI side with the 9 series i specifically have the MSI Gaming 7 its a great board but in my opinion the other UEFI BIOS for other manufacturers like MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte, ECS, ASRock and more don't come close to what the Intel Visual BIOS is they are good but not to the level of Intel Visual BIOS
